ECG News is a set of articles gathered from the press that are relevant either to the automotive industry in general or the vehicle logistics sector specifically, collected by staff ECG. In addition, we include relevant press releases and articles of interest submitted by our members and sponsors. You will also find dates of upcoming events and meetings.
ECG, Association of European Vehicle Logistics established in 1997 (www.ecgassociation.eu), represents the interests of almost 100 member companies, from family owned SMEs to multi-nationals, and is the major champion of the European vehicle logistics sector.
ECG Members provide transport, distribution, storage, preparation and post-production services to manufacturers, importers, car rental companies and vehicle leasing operators in the European Union, Norway, Switzerland, Serbia, the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Turkey etc.
Founded as a non-profit making organization to promote the interests of the car carrier operators, ECG is now the established platform for the automotive logistics sector bringing together logistics service providers, manufacturer logistics managers and suppliers to the sector.
ECG aims to facilitate collaboration between member companies and assist them in sharing best practices in many operational areas, especially in harmonization of operational standards.
